Vanessa Joynt
Principal HR Consultant and owner/director of Changing Gear Limited, Vanessa has over 30 years experience as both an HR professional and a business executive on leadership teams. She has also been a line manager responsible for leading change across a large team at the same time as maintaining and improving service delivery standards. This experience heavily influences the level of support and empathy she offers her clients and her unwavering belief that solutions need to be focused, pragmatic and commercial if they are to be relevant and successful.
Vanessa has experience from across industries as diverse as aviation, medical devices, manufacturing and distribution, transport and logistics, financial services, telecommunications, local government and not for profit. This valuable experience means she can “hit the ground running” and quickly add value for her clients.
Vanessa’s passion for delivering solutions that add real value, combined with her ability to be supportive and challenging in equal measure, has enabled her to be a respected confidant amongst leaders, managers/supervisors and staff equally.
She has a Diploma in Business and also attended the Strategic Human Resource Management programme at the Australian Graduate School of Management. She is a registered Private Investigator, a certified trainer in DISC Flow and she has completed Unit Standard 4098 (Assessor).
